First off what an intresting topic to choose. The thesis you have makes me just want to read on. In your first picture Ambutation Kit the first sentence seems to cram too much info. You should elborate and describe what each does, instead of bunching all that info into one long sentence. #3 Surgeons at Hospital field "A field hospital is the place where amputation and other surgeries were performed while still on the battlefield." I feel there should be a comma after while. Also on this same page you site [3] but there is not a reference at the bottom. #4 Surgeons at Gettysburg the first sentence "During the Civil War and the time proceeding, Civil War surgeons were thought of as unskillful butchers.I feel that the first part of the sentence could be re-worded a little to sound better. Overall a great photo album, it kept me intrested and wanting to learn more. Great Job

Your civil war essay was really really hard to comment on. You have done a great job with an interesting topic and I seriously don't know what to comment on. You have a clear and simple argument that is supported with strong eveidence in the other slides. I did find a really small spelling error on the 3rd slide. Another thing which I noticed is that in the 4th slide it seems like you repeated yourself by mentioning the unsanitry conditions and the little time they had. Those two sentences seemed unnecessary.Your article on Jesse Jones was interesting too but when you say the Amputations not around main body areas like the knees, hip and thighs were fatal. I cannot think of another body part that would be less fatal, since a bullet in the leg area. But a really interesting and well put post.
